Thursdays are long days for me. I work 4 9hour days Monday through Thursday, and a half day Saturday. Thursday night we host small group for church. So I’m beat tonight. And I’m going in for some OT tomorrow. So tired!!!
And here we are… November 2, 2011
It’s day two of NaBloPoMo and I’m remembering to post, aren’t you impressed? Ha ha. I really don’t care whether you are or not, because I don’t even think anyone is reading this. And that’s really okay with me!
Many of my friends are taking part in what has now been called the month of thankfulness, mostly on Facebook. I figure it will help me with NaBloPoMo since it’s based on naming one thing you are thankful for each day. I’m technically a day behind on that wagon, so you get two today.
One, I’m thankful for my husband, who loves me unconditionally and puts up with me every day.
Two, I’m thankful for my funny, energetic, loving, smart toddler son. It’s so amazing to watch him grow and learn, knowing that I GREW him, he is my flesh and blood. He amazes me every day.
I’m exhausted, so that’s all for now.
A quick driveby post! November 1, 2011
So I haven’t posted a blog entry in a long time. Life has been a little busy, and I’ve kind of forgotten about my little corner of the world wide web. But it’s NaBloPoMo, and I kind of think that if I try to meet the goals for that, it might help me keep the blogging going. I’ve said that before, and obviously it didn’t happen. But here’s to hoping! And it helps that I can do it from my iPod, too, which is what I am doing at this moment. So please, pardon the typos, as they’ll be a good indicator of where I’m posting from, haha.
A quick run down… I gave birth to our son, JBR, on January 18th, 2010, 29 hours after realizing my water broke. He was a healthy 7lbs, 4oz, 20″. He’s now a running, talking, excitable toddler who loves Curious George, coloring, and macaroni and cheese. He’s a peanut, he seems to have my height traits for now, but that could change. He’s a lovable bundle of energy! And he is going to be a big brother shortly after he turns two! We are expecting another boy at the end of February! We were very surprised to learn that we were expecting again, and while it is forcing some changes, we are looking forward to having the boys so close in age, it will be good for them. Yes, there is a part of me that kind of wishes this one was a girl, but I am just as excited that J will have a little brother! It will be good for them for sure.
The husband just set up a new website that we might get going for family stuff, for things like pictures, a family blog, things like that. I will have to play around with it to see what we can do.
But for now, it’s time for sleep. Growing a baby while chasing a toddler is exhausting!
That’s it! November 30, 2008
All 30 days, posting successfully! HOORAY!!!

HOORAY NABLOPOMO08!!!!
Still catching up November 29, 2008
I know I have spent a lot of this month saying, “I’ll write more tomorrow…” and I fully intended to do so…. however, Black Friday is still kicking my butt. I’m exhausted. It’s been a long, yet ridiculously quick month and I feel like I lost a lot of sleep this month. Yay.
Thankfulness November 27, 2008
Today is Thanksgiving, here in the US. While I do think that we should be thankful EVERY day, I appreciate having the day to spend time with family we don’t get to see all the time. We spent today with my husband’s side of the family, specifically my mother-in-law’s family. We had a good day.
What are YOU thankful for this particular year? For me, it’s having an even bigger family to spend time with… for health, happiness, laughter, and love.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
It’s just about here! November 26, 2008
Not only is the end of NaBloPoMo08 almost here, but we’re just minutes away from Thanksgiving!
MmmMMmmm turkey!
Oh man… November 25, 2008
So I fail at posting during the day.
Look for a REAL, TRUE, post tomorrow! I promise!
